You should definitely consider yourself very lucky if you are looking for clothes for your beach wedding ceremony. Lucky because you will be having a wedding which doubles up as a vacation; just imagine a wedding where you not only have fun, but is also casual and inexpensive. You can be rest assured that you will feel just as comfortable exchanging vows as you did at the engagement party. You’re the luckiest groom out there. You get to walk down an aisle of sand in total comfort on your wedding day.

Knowing exactly where everything will take place will very largely dictate the men’s beach wedding attire. Will some part or the entire wedding take place on an actual beach, or just near a beach? If it is just a beach-themed wedding then take your cue from the bridal beach wedding outfits. If the bride is wearing a ball gown, then perhaps a tux is not such a bad idea. If any part of the wedding will take place on an actual beach, then consider something a little less formal and a little more fun!

For all you men that are lucky enough to have a beach wedding this is a message of warning. Just because you’re privileged enough to not have to walk down a concrete aisle in a suffocating suit does not mean that you can show up looking like a castaway either! The beach wedding look isn’t an informal one, nor is it semi-formal. It’s what I like to call a formal “light” look which implies that you’ve got to look casual but with a formal, sharp edge to it!

So you’ve decided that you’re getting married by the sea, you’ve chosen your location, you’ve organized the necessary support, you’ve made your guest lists and you’ve done a trial run of the whole thing, but the only thing that didn’t quite fit in was that tux that you wore the other day! And why am I not surprised? What’s the point of taking a wedding outdoors to an exotic locale if the whole weddings going to run just like one back home anyway? No no, that cannot be, if you’re going exotic you may as well go the whole hog, and in case of men, this implies there’s a need to buy the right shirt for your beachside wedding! And considering that there’s very little scope to play around in regard to a man’s wardrobe, trust me, this could be the most important decision of the wedding, second only to all the bride’s decisions though, but that’s not important!
